SuperSeller Blog
WooCommerce AI chatbot setup and product sync
Connect your WooCommerce store to SuperSeller for product recommendations and store FAQ answers. Start with 30 conversations per month on the Free plan, with no card required.
Install the free SuperSeller WooCommerce plugin from WordPress.org to sync your catalog and add an AI shopping assistant. A SuperSeller account is required; the Free plan includes 30 conversations per month for one company. Paid plans offer higher limits.
Connect your store
- With WooCommerce active, open WordPress Plugins → Add New, search for SuperSeller, install and activate it.
- Create your SuperSeller account and company. Select that company using the dashboard company switcher before opening API Keys.
- Click Create New Key, name it and copy the key shown once. Keep it private.
- In WordPress SuperSeller → Settings, paste the key and click Test Connection. Confirm the detected company.
- Enable Privacy Consent and Automatic Product Sync, then Save Settings.
- Run Sync All Products Now for the initial import. Wait for completion and verify the catalog under Dashboard → Products for the same company.
- Enable the optional chat widget and save. Open a storefront page in a private browser window and ask about a synced product. Do not add a second manual embed snippet.
How product updates work
Automatic updates run as background jobs, not instant requests. Product, variation and stock changes refresh the catalog. Variation changes update the parent product. Stable IDs prevent duplicates when the same products are synced again.
The plugin sends names, descriptions, current selling prices, active sale prices, SKUs, stock status, categories, attributes, image URLs and product links. Unknown stock quantity stays unspecified. Products made private, unpublished, hidden, trashed or permanently deleted are queued for removal.
Add shipping, returns and FAQ answers
Open SuperSeller → Knowledge Base. With a valid connection and saved Privacy Consent, manually sync store information, shipping methods, return policies, custom entries or selected published pages and posts. Manual knowledge sync works even when Automatic Product Sync is off.
Re-sync after editing a page or policy. Permanently deleting a synced page or post queues removal of its knowledge entry while consent and the connection remain valid. Trashing or unpublishing it does not remove the entry; remove unwanted content in the SuperSeller dashboard.
Privacy and optional tracking
Product sync sends catalog data. Selected knowledge may contain a store address or contact email. The optional widget processes visitor messages, page context and a browser visitor identifier. Separate conversion tracking is off by default; when enabled with consent and the widget, it sends paid order IDs, totals and currencies for attribution. The plugin does not send billing addresses or payment-card fields. Configure privacy notices and any required visitor consent before enabling sharing.
Troubleshooting and compatibility
For connection errors, test and save the correct key for the selected company. For missing products, check saved Privacy Consent, Automatic Product Sync and publication visibility. For delays, inspect WooCommerce → Status → Scheduled Actions. Jobs use Action Scheduler with a WP-Cron fallback; low-traffic sites may need host-managed cron. Temporary failures receive up to five attempts. Correct authorization errors before retrying. Large initial imports can be limited by hosting resources or service limits.
Plugin 1.2.1 requires WordPress 5.8+, PHP 7.4+ and active WooCommerce. It was tested with WordPress 7.1, WooCommerce 11.1.0 and PHP 8.2, using both HPOS and legacy order storage.
